Crasani Manastery is situated in the village with the same name in the County of Ialomita, on the Ialomita river bank, and it is a nun monastery with a parish life.
At the end of the 2003 a wooden church is built, and in 2001 the skete Crasani is built. In 2003 the skete becomes a monastery.
In time, there were sanctums built for the nuns and guests, and the kitchens and the warehouses were renovated.
There is the refectory inside, carrying the names of Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel. It was painted within one month only. The wakes of the monastery are Saint Apostol Andrew and The Pious Parascheva (the church is in construction), Saint Andrew (chapel).
Crasani monastery is another important touristic sight in the Muntenia region, sight which should not miss visiting if you are nearby.
