Every midsummer, specifically the first weekend of August, Romanian pop music meets with itself. In the special atmosphere of the Garden Cinemascope Amara -It is organized "Youth Trophy" - national contest for the interpretation of Romanian pop music. ,,Youth Trophy ", whose tradition has acquired a strong identity in time, and also an ascending series prepares its entry into the artistic scene. More than simply meeting with the artistic profile, this festival offers an entire year retrospective creation, bringing forth musical spectacular appearance.
The event is held without interruption since 1968. It`s the longest-running music festival in the country and considered second in importance and scope after Mamaia Festival.
Beyond the spectacular music, played in a suitable setting, every year richer and closer to the public and artists, the festival brings together competitors from all over the country to live magic moments, unique emotions, hoping that they will be the winners. "Youth Trophy" will shine forever, forever young, perpetually aspiring to perfection by a lot of music, entertainment, competition, established stars, musicians and a loyal audience.
